Her story

Why the Starprints

Kayla Winter built the Starprints from a simple conviction: that the answers we search for outside are written, with startling precision, inside us.

Drawing on ancient systems and a modern, quantum lens, she translates the language of the soul into a map anyone can read — and live by. Part ancient wisdom, part quantum intelligence, the Starprints turn the question “who am I, really?” into something you can see, hold, and walk.

What began as her own search became a living system — one she now places in the hands of readers, leaders, and anyone ready to move from force into flow.

I curate, collect, refine, and perfect. Systems, teams, brand worlds, along with every room in my house... I have to see the whole universe before I can isolate a single star — which is why I built the Starprint OS before I wrote a word of this book.

Here’s what I actually believe. The only thing you control is the choice you’re making right now. That’s it. That’s the whole gift. What you’re not changing, you’re choosing. And when you start trusting your intuition, it feels like flow. When you don’t — when you keep doing what you think you’re supposed to do — it feels like force. Stack enough forced choices and you wake up living as your shadow self. Why would you pick that on purpose?

This book is for little me. The one who cut out every horoscope and penciled the moon phases into her elementary school agenda. The one who kept hunting for the perfect planner, the perfect system — the one that would finally move with her instead of against her. She must have known she’d write this someday.

If that was you too, welcome. You think you’re diving in.
You’ve barely gotten your toe wet.

The map was always inside you. The Starprints just help you read it.

A note from Jen

I’ve been in the business since 1997. Trade school for Graphic Arts, then commercial printing, then up the ladder to designer and into advertising. I know what makes a page work because I’ve set type since before half of it went digital.

My taste runs boho and natural. Calm colors, clean geometry. I work with lifestyle and healing brands now, and I’m done with pharma and hospital advertising. I won’t put my hands on anything built to keep people sick.

Laying out a book is not for the weak. Every header, every page number, every line of leading has to sit in exactly the right place, and no, I will not let a word break across a hyphen, because who wants that in a book they’re actually trying to read. Most people never see that work. That’s the point. You only notice book layout when it’s done badly.

The Starprints taught me something I didn’t expect. That everyone carries a light and a dark, and you have to learn both to really understand a person, including yourself.

When I’m in the zone I’m designing to hard rock. In life I take every setback as a lesson. Life changes like music does. You either rock with it or you get left behind. I rock with it.
